PASSA has been setting standards in the chemical supplies industry for many years and promote high standards of safety and enjoyment, by registering retailers and manufacturers of accessories and water purification products. PASSA was established by the industry in 2015, to ensure that companies are adequately trained in water hygiene management and understand the importance of maintaining these Standards.
As part of the PASSA membership, contractors are provided with a comprehensive set of standards to provide guidance on swimming pool and hot tub chemical supply standards expected by industry experts. The fact that PASSA members work to these standards and the PASSA Code of Ethics can bring Peace of Mind for consumers.
All PASSA members receive a hard copy of the PASSA standards and any updates are provided when available.
The standards continue to evolve, with new legislation, or Regulations being taken into account. PASSAs Technical Committee revise the standards on a regular basis to check for any amendments, or additions that need to be considered.
Suppliers and manufacturers are encouraged to be PASSA Members to benefit from the wealth of knowledge contained from within the publication.
